iMentor launched programming in the Bay Area in the fall of 2016, serving 269 junior-class students in partnership with Lionel Wilson Preparatory Academy in Oakland and James Lick High School in San Jose. This fall 2017, our juniors became seniors and continued in their powerful relationships, and we recruited hundreds of new mentors for the rising juniors, more than doubling our program size to serve 508 students.

With your help, next year iMentor will scale to serve approximately 880 students annually across these communities. Please join us in building the momentum to help more students!

The iMentor Challenge is our chance to do just that. We hope that by sharing our stories and inspiration, more people will become involved and build the momentum to impact more Bay Area students.

It costs iMentor's programming team $1,000 to provide ONE MENTOR/MENTEE PAIR with access to iMentor’s proven college success curriculum and resources. Here is are other ways to make college and career ambitions a reality for our students:

• $25 allows a mentee to attend a year of iMentor in-person pair events
• $100 Pays for a college visit for an iMentor student
• $250 Funds a college application event for an entire class
• $500 Supports one student as they work with their mentor toward academic and personal success
• $1,000 Supports the mentorship of one mentor/mentee pair!
