Humane Society of Charles County, Inc.'s Fundraiser:

The Humane Society of Charles County

In 2015, the Humane Society of Charles County provided compassionate shelter and care to more than 3,200 homeless animals, touched more than 18,000 school children, nursing home residents, veterans, and community members through our humane education and pet therapy programs, provided low-to-no cost veterinary services for more than 3,000 pets in need, and saved 193 “bottle babies” from certain euthanasia in area shelters through our kitten and puppy fostering programs.

The HSCC must raise over $400,000 dollars per year in individual donations to meet the needs of the at-risk animals and members of our community.  The Saving Pets Challenge is the most efficient fundraiser we have found to help us reach our goal.  Virtually 100% of your donation goes directly to our shelter (Check out the donate option that allows you to cover the credit card processing fee!) AND with your help, we could even win up to $50,000 in prize money!  Funds raised through the Saving Pets Challenge will be used to help us provide shelter and care for more homeless, injured, and neglected animals than ever before through adoptions, fostering, community partnerships, education, affordable spay/neuter and veterinary services, and support for the families of pets in need.
