At Howard Hanna, we are dedicated to giving back to the communities where we live and work. The Howard Hanna Children's Free Care Fund was established in 1988 with a modest train of pot luck office lunches (lovingly dubbed the Choo Choo Chow Chow) to raise money for children in need. Since 1988, with the help of our agents, employees, family, friends, neighbors, local businesses and organizations, we have come together to raise over 18 million dollars to support hundreds of educational, health and humanitarian causes, charities and events annually in our market areas.
The mission of the Free Care Fund is to assure that children never be denied the care they need due to lack of funds. Whether helping families without medical insurance afford care for their children, funding cutting-edge medical care that insurance may not cover, or contributing for special programs for disabled children, Howard Hanna is committed to helping children in need in our neighborhoods.
In 2020, we are all facing a new challenge and the need for the Howard Hanna Children’s Free Care Fund is acute due to the pandemic as families are experiencing financial hardships and illnesses in higher numbers than ever before. We are proud to continue our commitment and help those in need. We thank you for your dedication, commitment, efforts and continued support!
