HOUSE of W.I.N. hosts free quarterly empowerment workshops to provide women with culturally relevant information and strong models of leadership, resilience, and hope.
In Philadelphia, 186,000 people live in deep poverty earning $12,000 a year or less, making Philadelphia the poorest major city in the country. Single women with children are most vulnerable that poverty puts them at great risk for sexual exploitation, food insecurity, housing concerns, complex health issues. The probability that their children will experience many of the same challenges is even greater.
HOUSE of W.I.N. needs your support in raising funds to rehab our first acquired property located in the Frankford section of Philadelphia. Once the renovations are completed, we will be able to offer housing and provide other essential resources and services to 5 women including their children.
