BENEFITING: The Multiple System Atrophy Coalition
ORGANIZER: The Multiple System Atrophy Coalition
I am fund raising for the MSA Coalition; a registered charity committed to progressing research into MSA, it is staffed entirely by volunteers and is wholly dependent on private organisations for funds.
MSA is a fatal neurological condition similar to Parkinson’s but much more aggressive and debilitating ( 6 to 9 years survivability from date of diagnosis). It’s also very rare and thus research receives little or no funding from regular institutions.
Some of my friends have asked if they can do anything for me since I was diagnosed with MSA in 2010. I think the best way to help is to contribute to this campaign. If you donate before 5 January 2017, your donation will be matched dollar for dollar by private organisations.
I have already donated funds to this cause as have some of my friends, and I thank them very much for that. But these donations don’t show up on this website as they were placed through another fundraising site.
Christmas is a time of giving so please donate to tens of thousands of people afflicted with MSA around the world.
My deepest thanks to all who contribute.
