The Hinesburg Community Resource Center envisions a community where people feel connected and are not in need. We are a grassroots, volunteer-driven organization that has been providing for basic needs and strengthening community since 1986. Our programs meet basic food needs for residents, provide support and social opportunities for young families, meet transportation challenges for elderly and disabled residents, offer financial assistance to struggling families, lend medical equipment to community members who have a need, and connect seniors with local programming and activities.
How Your Donations Help
- $25 provides groceries and a milk coupon for a child who relies on free/reduced school meals so she has something to eat over a week-long school break.
- $50 provides a playgroup with a healthy snack, stories, games and socializing for young families.
- $100 supports a town bus trip to take those who cannot drive, or are lacking transportation, to errands and appointments.
- $250 allows us to help a family in need with heating fuel when they run out.
