Highbaugh College Fund
Organized by: Devon Highbaugh
Hello World, My name is Devon Highbaugh I am a single 23yr old with 3 children. I have two boys and a girl that are 7yrs of age, 3yrs, and 2yrs my daughter being the youngest. All my life, my family has complemented me on my intelligence, asking if I were going to college. Although I may be, my life is no longer about me. I live for my children, meaning I am more focused on their future instead of mine. I have started to invest in a change jar in which I have $163.37. Any currency funded by this account WILL go directly towards their education. My son Devon Jr.(the oldest) Is in the 2nd grade originally. He is a straight A+ student reading at a 3rd grade level as well as math. His teacher called me two weeks ago to ask if he could be placed in the 3rd grade for the remainder of the year but I have not made the final decision yet. He loves sports but I continue to notify him of the definition "Student Athlete". I stress to my children that school is most important and they can be successful in anything they might plan to be! Secondly, is my son Jeremiah he is 3yrs old. He has always been full of love and joy and also loves anything physically demanding (as all kids do). I hope he will follow in his brothers footsteps as far as school but only time will tell. Lastly, there is Jazmiyah my 2yr old whom is my light to my world. She has so much intellect it is kind of crazy sometimes. The other day she asked me if she could color. Of course I let her, in her frozen coloring book she made (Elsa)(Frozen Character) the exact same colors as the movie. This shows her knowledge and understanding at an early age. This is simple but expresses she is going to be analytical of the things she sees. She is my only girl and my youngest, but sometimes it feels like the world stops for her. We are based out of Indianapolis, Indiana a place where the neighborhoods aren't too good and not a lot of people make it out of our poverty-stricken city. My ultimate wish is for all of my children to go to college and be successful adults with or without me. So my job is to be the best parent possible until the day they walk across the stage(graduate). Hence, this account. I have created this account for them to help there chances of making it to college because I did not. With help from my $163.37 time and this account my dream should come true! If you would like to donate it would be most appreciated and may God bless you for your investments into their future. GOD BLESS YOU AND HAVE A NICE DAY!!
