The Institute for Conscious Global Change (ICGC) is an international 501c3 non-profit NGO organization in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations which uses innovative technologies like geographic information systems (GIS), GeoDesign in combination with meaningful stakeholder engagement strategies to empower Member States of the United Nations (UN) to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the year 2030.

These 17 goals and their related 169 targets were agreed upon by all 193 Member States in 2015 as a part of the most comprehensive global plan for sustainability which has ever been developed.

ICGC's primary endeavor is the Millennium Earth Project(MEP), which employs a geodesign framework that builds the capacity of local governments to organize and collect geospatial data, visualize and analyze trends in the landscape, conceptualize possible development scenarios using 3D modeling, and empower citizens to envision their own future.

Check out our Proof of Concept for St. Raphael, Haiti on our homepage at:

Our methods for generating resiliency focus on capacity building, citizen engagement and knowledge transfer through training and mentorship in order to increase transparency, accountability and representation in development so that communities can build resiliency and problem-solving capacities.

In 2016, the Jamaican government endorsed the MEP, allowing the Permanent Mission of Jamaica to the UN to submit the MEP Proposal to the Secretary General for inclusion in the documents of the 71st session of the General Assembly.

In this regard, our Millennium Earth Project proposal for how to implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is now an official document of the United Nations and has been published in all six official UN languages, is designated U.N. Doc. A/C.2/71/4 and can be found here:
