Who We Are:
The Foundation for Educational Development, Inc. (FEDI), a 501(c)(3), federal id 52-192-9345, was founded in 1993 to promote engineering, science, and technology to underrepresented men and women through professional and career development, educational programs, awards programs, and career placement opportunities.
FEDI has developed programs designed to reach various levels of minorities and women. This commitment reaches pre-college and college-aged youth, as well as professionals and executives. FEDI has developed and sponsored a series of professional seminars, symposia, and workshops.
Many underrepresented STEM Major college students are missing out on professional networking opportunities that help foster relationships from professionals and mentors in their respective fields.
Raise funds to transport, house, and register STEM Major College students to experience the 30th Anniversary Black Engineer of the Year Awards STEM College Program, Career Fair, and Seminars. Your gift supports opportunities for students in STEM majors to gain CEUs for college credit, learn, interact, and land jobs and internships with Fortune 500 recruiters.This conference will inspire and educate students as they learn from professionals in their fields of study and network with top executives and mentors from Fortune 500 Corporations.
