Help Her Save Her Teeth
Organized by: Latoya Wakefeld
Good day all, I have misaligned and double-row teeth. I thought I could live with them like this or at least until I could earn the funds to get braces but I can't anymore. One of my pre-molars is about to fall out due to the gum receding and I'm just 26 years old. According to the Orthodontologist, I have too many teeth in my mouth and that is causing all these issues. I have bad breath, bleeding gums, one of my wisdom tooth is turned sideways in the gum and rotting. I'm in pain.I don't know how to slow it down. I brush with a medium/soft brush, I use Listerine, I floss, I use salt water, etc but nothing works. I don't even want to talk to others. Sometimes, I wake up in the middle of the night, mouth full of blood and I'm also anemic. I did a consultation and the Orthodontologist stated that they have to remove 8 (all 4 wisdom included) of my teeth, major surgery for two of the wisdom. They advised me that I'm not able to remove any until I get the braces. I've tried to get a loan but was found to be ineligible due to my job being a contracted one and I haven't been employed at that place for two years as yet. Two others are decaying. It will cost 6500 US to get braces. The Orthodontogist will commence if I can provide a deposit of 1000 US. I don't know how much time I have until my pre-molar starts to shake. I really hope you can help me in getting the deposit. If a 100 people donate at least $10 US then that's the deposit! I'm grateful for anything you can give. Blessings, L.W.
