The Los Gatos Rowing Club has been rowing in the South Bay for almost 35 years. Since 1979, LGRC has trained and coached over 2,500 student athletes. I am one of them and extremely proud to be a part of this club. Our juniors program continues to win numerous national titles and many alumni continue their rowing in college and in the Olymics.
WHY WE NEED HELP
For the safety of the athletes, it is important to keep equipment in good, working condition. Proper equipment, including shells (boats), oars, and cox boxes (on-board PA system that enables the coxswain to communicate with rowers on the water), is key to competing at this elite level.
LGRC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization; therefore, your donation is tax deductible.
WHY YOU SHOULD HELP
Crew has become a very important part of my life. In the short time that I have participated, I have learned a lot about the sport and about myself. It has taught me to make goals and to achieve them. Crew takes a lot of dedication and perseverance. I am proud of all I have been able to accomplish thus far and I am excited about what the future holds.
LGRC is dedicated to keeping costs as low as possible. Program Fees cover coaching and regatta costs, while proceeds from fundraising go to equipment acquisition. Only with your generous support can we continue to develop young, Bay Area athletes.
Please help us raise money for our club, by making a donation today!
