Please join me to help the IRC to help resettle refugees who recently arrived in the US and whose successful resettlement has been put in jeopardy by the new administration's actions.
"The institution of asylum is an essential part of democracy and of the protection of human rights. Refugees are not terrorists. Refugees are many times the first victims of terror.” - António Guterres
With the impending refugee resettlement ban, the IRC will experience a huge gap in funding for US programs. For the first time in IRC history, we are launching an emergency campaign for US programs. This funding will help to provide support for refugees who are currently being resettled in the U.S. It will help assure that we have staff and caseworkers available to assist clients gain access to jobs, healthcare, ESL and more. Now more than ever we need to keep IRC offices running so we can be here for our clients who have made it to the U.S and need critical support as they rebuild their lives. Please share this, give generously and ask your friends and families to do the same.
