Help me study!
Organized by: Lavanyah Magenthiran
Hello everyone! I'm Lavanyah, an 18 years old from Malaysia! Like everyone else, I also have a dream to become successful! All my lives I have been working towards being successful. And when I realized that I was a step closer to achieving my dream, I felt so contented. By a miracle I got accepted into a University in the UK!!! I couldn't believe it; this was going to change my live forever! I am super excited and really want to make the first leap in my career... this is where you come in! Unfortunately, this amazing opportunity isn't free! I have tuition to think about, as well as living costs. – I’m not entitled to any support from the UK funding wise as I’m an international student... so it's down to me to raise the money, and what a better way than crowd funding! Becoming a lawyer has its up's and downs, as it's a very competitive and it's also a lot of hard work, but this is one of the many reasons why I love it, it makes it more of a challenge and when you do achieve something it makes it even more special and rewarding. It makes me feel good, and I really want to enjoy this opportunity. I couldn't imagine myself doing anything else! I have faced many hardships in live where people indirectly say things like: 'you won’t be successful' or 'you might as well give up and work at McDonalds', 'you're wasting your time' ‘you can’t afford that’. All my efforts, commitment and dedication to study further have now finally paid off. Now I could be heading off to the UK to study! What a truly amazing experience this would be. Knowing that you're so close to achieving your ultimate dream that you've dedicated your whole life too, knowing that it might be suddenly snatched away because of something like money is such a horrible and daunting feeling. Please find it in your hearts to take 2 minutes to donate anything you can - every little really does help!! Share this page around on your social media's and make our dreams become a reality, so we can prove to the negativity that we can do it! Thank you for taking a moment to read this :) Thank you for the bottom of my heart, Lavanyah! :)
