Help Bus Missoulians to Helena for Women's March on Montana
Organized by: Valan Anthos
We stand together in solidarity with our partners and children for the protection of our rights, our safety, our health, and our families-recognizing that our vibrant and diverse communities are the strength of our country. Join in the camaraderie on a bus to Helena. Those of us traveling from Missoula are raising funds to charter buses to Helena. We are currently shooting for seven buses in order to accomadate everyone who needs a ride. We want to make sure everyone can get a seat on the bus. We estimate each seat on the bus will cost about $25. Please contribute what you can in support of this cause. On January 21st, 2017, people of all genders will march on Washington and in various states for women's rights and freedom from oppression for all marginalized people. This is a nonpartisan march that intends to have people gather to be in solidarity with all marginalized people and send a clear message to our governmental institutions that we care about equality. Our group will be marching on Helena, Montana in solidarity with those in Washington and across the country.
We are also raising funds for students from the Salish Kootenai Tribal College to be able to travel to the march.
