2/28/20 - We are a little more than half way there, now we need to just raise the rest! We have raised $1,200 so far which is enough funds to pay for 3 San Jose City Team men to attend the retreat. (I just received the 3 men's names today.) We only need $800 more to send another 3 men.

This will be a win-win-win.

Win #1 - Three more men who otherwise can not afford to go will receive scholarship funds to go.

Win #2 - The Heart of Men will hit the minimun 20 participants needed to secure payment on the contract for the retreat center.

Win #3 - You will feel great knowing you have made a contibution to a very good cause.

2/10/20 - You may or may not know that I started a self-supporting men’s group early last month. The Heart of Men men’s group is now 21 members strong. We just held our 6th weekly meeting and have had an average attendance of 8-10 men. We are indeed forming as a band of brothers and I am happy to report that the Heart of Men group’s pulse is very strong. We are looking forward to many years in ministry together.

Here’s where we need your help:

In addition to our meetings we are also hosting a 4-day Wild at Heart Boot Camp men’s retreat March 26-29, 2020.

· In order to allow as many men to attend our retreat - The Heart of Men currently has a scholarship campaign to raise money to help any man who would like to attend the retreat and needs financial support in order to do so. (We already have 4 men who have reached out to us asking for assistance.) Here is a link to the campaign. · We also need everyone to forward the retreat link ( https://heartretreat.org ) to any man they feel would benefit from the experience or would know of other men to reach-out to. Feel free to respond to this email and ask for flyers, brochures or whatever needed to pass this information along. We are looking to fill as many spots as possible. We took a bold step and signed a contract for the retreat center that carries a minimum participant level.

Scholarship assistance and spreading the word will help relieve our anxiety of filling spots and allow us to spend our time working with the Lord to develop the exact content he wants to provide for the retreat.
