BENEFITING: American Heart Association
Our children are alive because of congenital heart defect research funding. They received an experimental heart valve and it saved their lives. We’re currently on a mission to get this valve approved by the FDA to save more children in dire need of these valves. One of the things we’ve learned in this process is that congenital heart defect medical research is severely underfunded.
We’re trying to do something about it. We need your help.
Last year the American Heart Association funded $13.5 million for research related to children's heart disease, second only to the federal government. Unfortunately, that was still not enough. They were only able to fund 16.7% of the research applications they received related to cardiovascular development and pediatrics.
So, please click the button on the upper right of this page and help us direct funds to congenital heart defect research so more children like ours can be saved, and become the lights of everyone's lives.
