Healing Meals and Physical Therapy Sports Centers wrote -

Every year in Connecticut, over 22,000 men, women and children are diagnosed with cancer and several thousand more are fighting for their lives as they face other critical conditions. It's at this time that healing foods and support are needed most but many don't have these resources, which is overwhelming! Healing Meals Community Project provides 100% organic meals for 12 weeks for free, or at a reduced price, for the entire family.  This gives them the nourishment and peace of mind to help them heal more quickly. When someone faces a health crisis, there are so many things they can't do. On October 14th, we will run on their behalf in the Hartford Marathon along with our caring community partner Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center to raise money to support 500 more families ..... because we can!
