BENEFITING: Harvard College Marathon Challenge
ORGANIZER: Harvard College Marathon Challenge
EVENT: Boston Marathon 2014
EVENT DATE: Apr 21, 2014
When I first told my parents that I wanted to run the Boston Marathon, they shook their heads; they wondered why I was willing to spend the next 6 months of my life training my a** off and raising over $2000--no easy feat--to do what? Say that I ran Boston? I realize you might also have the same question.
I want to run this marathon to prove to myself that I am strong enough to overcome anything--mentally or physically. I want to run for my city, to rectify the harm done last year by making something good and donating to charity this year. Together, we are Boston Strong. This is my mission and thank you to all who have helped!
Your donation to HCMC will benefit the Phillips Brooks House Association (PBHA) Summer Urban Program (SUP). PBHA SUP delivers educational and enrichment programming to underserved youth throughout the Greater Boston area. Since its inception in 2005-06, HCMC runners have raised over $300,000 for causes such as PBHA SUP. Thanks for your generosity, no matter how large or how small!
