The Hatters for Music Organization (HFM) is made up of parents/guardians of current Hatboro-Horsham Marching Ensemble (HHME), Hatboro-Horsham Indoor Percussion (HHIP), and Hatboro-Horsham Indoor Color Guard (HHICG) students.  Parents/Guardians play an important part of the marching ensemble community and this is an opportunity to share with your child in an activity that he/she truly enjoys.

HFM supports students by assisting when needed at: competitions, running the home shows, holding social events for band members and their families, and by attending, volunteering and chaperoning various events.   The organization oversees and assumes responsibility for raising funds for a variety of expenditures as requested by the Marching Ensemble Director including but not limited to instruments, props, material for flags and entrance fees to competitions.

Hatters for Music exists to:

  * Assist the high school Marching Ensemble Director, Indoor Percussion Director and Indoor Color Guard Director in providing quality music program for the students in accordance with the policies established by the Hatboro-Horsham School District.

* Supplement the funds available to the Marching Ensemble Director, Indoor Percussion Director and Indoor Color Guard Director in addition to the district budget.

*  Develop an open line of communication and spirit of enthusiasm within the organization, board of directors of the organization, the Marching Ensemble, Indoor Percussion and Indoor Color Guard staff, the students and the parents and/or legal guardians of the students.

*  Provide a way for the students to raise funds to help pay fees for participation in the Marching Ensemble, Indoor Percussion and Indoor Color Guard programs.

Hatters for Music  is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, religious, or scientific purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
