I became familiar with Team Will through my wife (and biggest supporter). She knows people through Intel that have participated in previous Team Will rides and who have inspired us both. I've been cycling for years but just recently purchased my first road bike. I'm looking forward to the challenge of riding across the country. Also, having visited children with cancer at pediatric oncology centers in my community, my motivation is to visit more hospitals and do my part in helping to riase funds and hope for these kids and their families has grown into a passion. I will be riding for all Team Will Heroes, but one in particular that inspired me to make this ride was Zachary Peters. My wife works with his parents and he was the closest child I knew that was affected by this terrible disease. I look forward to meeting new Heroes over the coming months and during the GTD2012.
