On Dec 1 2017, Grateful Hearts will have been providing Hope for the hurting in Los Alamitos, California for 19 years, serving as a Resource Center for those in need in our community, surrounding communities, statewide and abroad!

In addition to distributing food, hygiene and household supplies four times weekly to individuals and families in need (including U.S. Veterans and mental health facilities), GH delivers food to shut-ins, who by reason of age or illness are not able to access our facility.

We also provide assistance to over 75 local anciliary agencies and send ongoing emergency assistance to poverty stricken areas overseas, and earthquake and hurricane ravaged areas, most recently in Texas, Nicaragua and Puerto Rico.

Literally tons of over the counter medicines, hospital equipment, new clothing and hygiene products have been sent from our facility to various places in need.

This past year, Grateful Hearts has been honored to take part in providing a truck full of desperately needed hospitial supplies for a new medical clinic in a remote area of Nicaragua.

Earlier this year, many infants and young children have died from respiratory failure, due to the fact that there was no accessible clinic nearby.

Grateful Hearts considers it our honor, priviledge and responsibility to help those in crisis and with the help of many, we can continue to do just that!!
