The Global Down Syndrome Foundation is committed to establishing and publishing Medical Care Guidelines for Adults with Down Syndrome by working with medical and health professionals in the Down syndrome community and with national health organizations.
Global is also committed to creating a useful checklist derived from the guidelines, and publishing such checklist and guidelines into several languages. Finally, the team at Global believes it is essential to make this important resource free to people with Down syndrome, their families, caregivers, healthcare providers and local, national, and international Down syndrome organizations.
