Running Free is an effort to raise $24,000 for America's blind and wounded warriors. Kelli, an Air Force officer, and EJ, a blind athlete with Choroideremia, will run the Air Force Marathon together this September and raise money for these causes along the way. 50% of the proceeds will go toward The Choroideremia Research Foundation's search to cure blindness; the other 50% will go toward Disabled Sports USA's network of sports rehabilitation programs for wounded warriors in military hospitals and communities throughout the nation.
