I'm running the Los Angeles Marathon (my first marathon), February 14 on LA's iconic "Stadium to the Sea" course. Because...why not... Never too old, AMIRITE?!
About 2 million Americans live with epilepsy and one-third of those (that's 666,666.6, for those of you keeping score--who is the 0.6?) aren't able to control their symptoms. That means seizures every week, or even every day. Physical injuries, learning disabilities, social isolation--a whole host of problems.
I'm committed to raising $100 per mile. The race is 26.2 miles. Math break. Yep, that's $2,620. Friends, help me out.
