Organized by: Empowering Lives Together
This ongoing mission is to enhance the lives by sharing the gospel and by giving a "hand-up" not a "hand out."
This ongoing mission is to share the gospel and help by providing food, water, clothing, edcuation, and creating jobs.
Our hope is to raise funds to help the following projects in Haiti.
*Food pack to feed the men, women, and children in Haiti, and to support the Friendship Depot where the pack will be held. Our goal is $4000-$5000 to pack 40,000 meals.
Friendship Depot-Raise money for 2 1/2 years rent for the building, a generator, and to be supportive in other ways. $3000
*Wells-We have 3 wells we wish to provide. A sponsored well in a village saves many lives and contributes to bring hope of a better life especially to the elderly and to the children. $2000 is needed for each well.
*Sewing class- To provide the needs such as sewing machines, materials, scissors, etc., to start a sewing class to teach tailoring. They then will be able to sew the uniforms for school and other clothing. Our hope is the clothing sewed will then be able to be purchased through the Friendship Depot.
*Brooding house-To provide materials to build a brooding house for egg production. This also will create jobs. $2000
*HUGS (Helping Us Grow Spiritually) Embroidery Class- Provide dish towels and embroidery floss. The dish towels are then sold for the women to earn money to purchase food and other needs.
*Sponsorships- We have approximately 30 young men & women who haven't have the chance to finish their schooling. The sponsorship for each is $200 for high school and $300 for Filo (13th grade they have in Haiti) for the year.
Our hope is to provide a "hand-up" not a "hand-out" by finding ways for the Haitian people to be self supporting. Please open your heart to Haiti. With your donation, you too can help feed a child, sponsor a child for school, or help in organizing a self-supporting way to provide jobs.
The goal is shown at $10,000 but it is undetermined as it does not include the sponsorships for school.
*If you wish to specify what project or sponsorship you would like, please list it with your donation.

The only way these young men and women are able to go to school is if someone sponsors them. You can see the time gap where they have not been sponsored. They deserved an opportunity to complete their education.
