BENEFITING: WRIGHT-WAY RESCUE
I adopted Gibbs from Wright-Way Rescue in June, 2011. Their mission is "to reduce the number of homeless adoptable pets euthanized in the Midwest each year through an adoption program, community education, promotion of spaying and neutering, and a shelter medicine outreach program."
Wright-Way grabs as many dogs and cats as they can from shelters downstate and elsewhere where the euthanasia rate is really high. Then they bring them up to an adoption center in suburban Chicago, where their chances of finding good homes are much better.
Wright-Way has lost their lease on the adoption center and is looking to buy a building for a permanent facility. I'd like to help them help more dogs like Gibbs. And cats, too.
