The Fireburn Foundation, Inc., (FBF ) is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) being global in scope, and is dedicated to helping individuals and organizations within the United States and its Territories, as well as internationally, and seeks to serve disadvantaged, underserved, and "at-risk" populations. FBF will serve as a resource to those incapable of helping themselves in the identified area(s).
FBF places the highest priority on creating solutions that are both innovative and will ensure accountability. Our purpose is to reach the underserved and disadvantaged individuals through a variety of initiatives, events and activities such as: conferences, seminars, workshops, books, film, and social media.
FBF will assist other organizations such as churches, food banks, clothing closets, and schools through networking with other community service programs, outreach ministries and social services that specialize in providing for specific needs, including leadership and empowerment.
FBF was selected by the United Nations Association, Broward County Chapter, as one of the 2020 United Nations Day Honorees, as an organization which has exhibited support for one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Thus far, FBF has supported the following SDGs:
1. End poverty in all its forms everywhere
2. End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture
4. Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all
5. Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
FBF seeks to aid people in the US, its Territories, and globally and supports communities through quality education, charitable giving, as well as partnerships and collaborations with other individuals and NGOs. The board consists of secretary, Evelyn Pennington, Esq; Accountant Louis F. Golden, Jr, Treasurer; and Angela Golden Bryan, Founder and President.
