Once upon a time, there was a tiny, little college in New York that was home to the King. Way back in 2001, the college decided to venture upstate for a weekend absent smelly subways, myriad distractions, and Plato. It was a weekend full of drama, marshmallow roasting, and the seizure of flags. Over the years, the tiny, little college grew and the King provided for it. That weekend upstate, dubbed Fall Retreat, became a tradition, a grand one indeed.
With the number of learners embarking on this great adventure having increased from 30 to 400 in the last decade, it is now time to kindly ask our family, friends, cousins, uncles, aunts, dentists, teachers, nail ladies, personal trainers, and dog sitters to generously donate towards this annual Fall Retreat.
The first freshmen of Briarcliff Campus were made to kiss a moose head upon arriving at Fall Retreat. This year's freshmen will also have the privilege of meeting a moose at Fall Retreat... This will be the year of the Moose - symbolizing the importance of tradition and funny animals.
Please consider donating any amount you can so that this tiny, little college of the King may venture upstate once more for a weekend of folklore and joy.
*** All money donated will go to the Retreat as a whole. Individuals may not fundraise their own ticket for Fall Retreat.***
