The Every Voice Engaged Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that helps citizens, governments and nonprofit organizations solve problems that benefit from effective civic engagement.

Working in partnership with The Kettering Foundation we have created Common Ground for Action, the first scalable web platform for Deliberative Decision Making. In a Common Ground for Action forum ordinary citizens get the chance to explore a complex problem from multiple perspectives, building insight and understanding while overcoming the barriers that threaten our democracy.

Unlike a trivial comment in Facebook, which tends to harden opinions and sharpen differences, the most common result of a Common Ground for Action forum is the realization that other people have a valid point of view and that we can find common ground for action on even the most complex issues we're facing - when we take the time to listen to one another.

The purpose of this campaign is to enable our development partner, Conteneo, Inc., to increase civic engagement by making it easier to for producers of events to invite participants and to enable participants to register for events.
