Every summer for the last 72 years, the East Hampton Artists and Writers Charity Softball Game has congregated to raise money for vital life service organizations in the East End. Normally at this time of the year, we would be holding auctions and preparing for our blow out softball game. The help of our local artists and writers is invaluable both on the field and off. The impact COVID-19 has had is unprecedented and in an effort to maintain the health and safety of our fans and donors, The Board has decided to forgo our typical elaborate production. However, the local organizations we serve still need our support. We are redirecting our efforts to raise money for these essential non-profits, whose services deserve funding now more than ever.
We have always come together as a community to look out for our community, and we hope to do this still – even in times as uncertain as this. Please consider making a donation of any size.
100% of net proceeds will directly benefit: The Eleanor Whitmore Early Childhood Learning Center, Phoenix House, The Retreat, and East End Hospice.
