The mission of the Dutchess Community College Foundation is to raise funds to provide scholarships and support the College's initiatives that will have a significant and direct impact on the students, faculty and staff of Dutchess Community College.
In 2018 the Foundation provided over $450,000 to more than 250 students. In addition to scholarships, the Foundation annually provides grants of approximately $150,000 to support special programs. DCC students donated money every semester to create The Student Technology Fund, which provides technology needs to enhance student success.
Unfortunately, today hunger among our students is a major concern. The Foundation is currently fundraising to provide the Pantry with food and equipment needed to increase the amount of wholesome food, particularly fresh fruit and vegetables to support our students so that they are well nourished. This support today will help our students stay in school and complete their education so that one day they will be able to secure a good job and thrive in our community.
