VAMOS!'s Fundraiser:

In Mexico you hear it all the time - DON'T DRINK THE WATER!  However at one of our VAMOS! Community Center's we are now saying "GO AHEAD - DRINK THE WATER!"  We can say that because thanks to the Rotary Club of RIpon, (UK) our project in Cerro de la Corona now has an AquaBox.  This is an incredible portable water filtration system that allows us to take the unsafe water that we pay for from the local town, and with just a few hand pumps, create drinking water for everyone at our center and for their families too! These pumps cost $425 each (plus another $180 to ship to Mexico) and we want to put one in each of our 10 communty  centers!   We all take clean water for granted but imagine not being able to afford water!  And children getting sick because it is unsafe!  Please help us do this!  Every contribution large and small will help bring FREE CLEAN drinkable water to a poor community in Cuernavaca, Mexico.
