Create a team, set a goal and start fundraising!
All the fun and excitement surrounding the Dinosaur Dash is is a great opportunity to hold an online fundraiser on Crowdrise.com for your TUSD team, whether you're involved in athletics, academics, band, or performing arts.
This type of fundraising is different from TPSF's pledge to give $6 per registration to the classroom or school program you specify when you register to participate in the Dino Dash. When you create a Dino Dash fundraising team on Crowdrise, ALL proceeds, less processing fees, will go back to your team after the Dino Dash.
Once a team captain has created the team fundraising page, team members can join the page, solicit for funds and help reach the team goal. Crowdrise provides tools such as as email and social media templates to help you and your teammates spread the word.
After the Dino Dash, TPSF will issue the proceeds to TUSD and will instruct your team captain on how to redeem the funds.
Individuals and teams not affiliated with Tustin Unified can also raise funds for the Tustin Public Schools Foundation. In those cases, all proceeds benefit the Tustin Public Schools Foundation and TUSD schools, not a specific school or program.
