The 27th Annual Dinosaur Dash, which raises funds for Tustin public schools, features 2k, 5k, and 10k runs and three different Bike Tours. Proceeds from this event benefit Tustin Unified students through programs such as tutoring for middle- and high-school students through the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program, grants to help teachers implement innovative projects, robotics, after-school sports, library books, music education, and other initiatives of the Tustin Public Schools Foundation. Tustin Unified School District’s 30 public schools benefit from the Dinosaur Dash.
