22in22 is an initiative started by Jacob DiSabatino while he was a junior at St. Marks High School. The funding supports Stop Soldier Suicide, Inc. in an effort to end the local and national epidemic of military suicides. Stop Soldier Suicide, Inc. advises Delaware's governmental officials, and provides data and support to local veteran mental health groups. In addition, they work with those who self-identify as a risk for suicide. Delaware Tech is committed to honoring the veterans and active duty military in our community and supporting their needs. The 22in22 program is one of the many ways that we embrace the talents and courage of our heroes. We hope you will join our 22in22 as we reflect on the commitment and sacrifice of our veterans and active duty military and their families.
Respectfully yours, Dr. Mark Brainard and the Delaware Tech Family
