THE STORY:
The mission of The Detroit College Promise is to motivate Detroit students to make education a priority. We offer a universal scholarship, good at any Michigan public college or university, simply for attending a Detroit Public School, living in Detroit grades 9-12, and completing some simple paperwork on time. We hope to continue to increase the award for each class. We awarded nearly $30,000 for DPS students attending college this fall. Being a part of this online fundraiser will help us achieve our goal, as well as help Detroit students dreams of attending college come true!
