Daniel Webster College Softball Spring Trip
Organized by: Casie Runksmeier
You have been identified as someone who can help have a positive impact on our student-athletes. Like many Division III athletic programs, our budgets are smaller than our needs. This year, our softball team will be headed to Myrtle Beach to play a few games and get some practice time in away from the cold, New England weather!
In order for the Daniel Webster College Softball team to make this trip a reality, we are hoping to fundraise as much as we can to help lower individual costs for the athletes.
Softball has the ability to teach life lessons; one of those life lessons is the commitment to see something through until the end. With your help, the opportunity for the DWC softball team to go on a spring break trip will fulfill a commitment and provide an experience that will have a lasting effect.
We would like you to consider a donation to help cover the cost of travel, hotel accommodations, food, and games. Before you say yes, we want you to know that when presented with several different travel and playing options, the team decided to take the least luxurious and most cost effective. This consists of piling into two 15 passenger vans for the duration of the trip (which takes 14 hours one-way), have the coaches as the drivers, and being modest on the food budget. No donation is too small and will all go to having a direct positive impact on the 2016 DWC Softball Student-Athletes.
Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide in creating life-long memories for these student-athletes!
