BENEFITING: THE SERGEANT THOMAS JOSEPH SULLIVAN CENTER
EVENT: Marine Corps Marathon 2013
EVENT DATE: Oct 27, 2013
Family, Friends, and Colleagues,
I'm running the 2014 Marine Corps Marathon and along with your help I would love to raise money for an excellent cause--the Sergeant Thomas Joseph Sullivan Center.
"The Sergeant Sullivan Center, named for a Marine who fell to post-deployment illness, strives to improve health after deployment through Awareness, Research, and Connection. The SSC is dedicated to improving health outcomes for current and former military personnel, especially those who are suffering from emerging, complicated, or currently unexplained post deployment health concerns."
We've made great strides in providing care to our vets, but I wish to put my stamp on this and give back to those that fight for me. Please consider donating to this important cause as I fly through 26.2 miles for my father that fought so that I could live a better life as well as all of our brothers and sisters in arms, and especially those who've laid down their arms, but continue to battle the effects.
My goal is $1,000!!!! I'd be ecstatic to achieve that so please give what you can or be very generous if this is something you may be passionate about. Thank you for EVERY penny!
