For thirty years now, Clackamas Women's Services has listened to survivors of domestic violence as they tell stories like the one above. But it's not enough just to listen! We need to act, to advocate, and to empower women to rebuild their lives.

The Allstate Purple Purse Challenge grew out of a desire to provide resources to victims of domestic violence--to quite literally pass purple purses around the community with information on where survivors can turn for help. Now the purple purse has become a symbol of the power of community fundraising action to combat domestic violence!
