BENEFITING: PIRATES CHARITIES
EVENT DATE: May 04, 2014
Welcome to my fundraising page for the 2014 UPMC Health Plan Half-Marathon! If you are here, you know that I am committed to raising $1000 for the Pirates Charities as a participant of Andrew McCutchen’s Cutch’s Crew running team. Some of you know that I have run many half-marathons and this year, I decided I wanted to run with a greater purpose—one that strengthens my community.
Each donation helps the Pirates Charities achieve its mission of strengthening the community by focusing on three core areas of youth health, fitness and education. Since its inception in 2006, Pirates Charities has distributed more than $2.5 million to organizations and programs committed to improving the lives of children and adults. Even though many of you do not live in the Pittsburgh area, I hope that you know that your donation is important to help children thrive and succeed—which is an important goal, no matter where you live!
Your help will ensure that I can reach my goal of finishing the half-marathon and, more importantly, help others achieve their goals in life!
All donations are tax-deductible (YAY!) AND anyone who donates $50 or more will receive a yummy package--a homemade assortement of cookies!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, for your support. You generosity is greatly appreciated!
