Progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) is a neurodegenerative brain disease that has no known cause, treatment or cure. It affects nerve cells that control walking, balance, mobility, vision, speech, and swallowing. Five to six people per 100,000 will develop PSP.
My sweet Grandmother was one of those few and rare people to have PSP.
My sister and I have always talked about starting a charity for our Nonna. We knew how proud and honored she would be to see us trying to help other people. That is what her life is all about!
This fundraiser is in honor of her to increase awareness, raise money towards research, cure, and prevention.
Our Nonna is so dear to our hearts, and it has been one of the worst things in our lives to watch her go through this.
Please help us find a cure to end PSP!!!
