BENEFITING: CROSSING BORDERS MINISTRY INC
$120/month = The amount it takes to provide care for 1 child of North Korean descent in the Crossing Borders Second Wave program. Our goal is to raise enough money to support 2 children for a whole year.
"Crossing Borders provides holistic care for children of North Korean descent who are in China. They are part of our Second Wave ministry, which was established to care for abandoned children whose North Korean mothers were sold to Chinese farmers as wives. This population of children are underrepresented, overlooked and denied legal status from both China and North Korea.
Unlike other organizations that usually cover costs only associated with education and/or food, Crossing Borders takes full responsibility for each child in Second Wave. In addition to food and schooling, we provide housing, medical care, and a salary for live-in caretakers. We also provide oversight for our caretakers through missionaries from the U.S. who live in China to provide guidance and accountability for those who take care of these precious children."
