CRISIS NURSERY's Fundraiser:

When at full capacity, it costs $1,800 a day to keep the Nursery open. Our goal for the Illinois Marathon Miles for Smiles Team is to raise $12,600-- enough to support one week at the Nursery. We encourage you to set an individual goal (minimum $200 per person) that is appropriate and comfortable for you.

Crisis Nursery creates an "Island of Safety" dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect by providing 24-hour emergency care for children and support to strengthen families in crisis. We depend on generous individuals like you to ensure our doors stay open 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. The money you raise will go towards our Safe Children and Strong Families programs.
