Each year, hundreds of residents in Oakland and Livingston Counties are assisted through heating emergencies by accessing OLHSA’s Emergency Utility Assistance Program, which is funded by Walk for Warmth. Increased economic uncertainty, low job availability, and unsteady public assistance mean our friends and neighbors will need our help more than ever in 2016.
In 2015, Walk for Warmth funds helped 307 families in Oakland County.
100 percent of all proceeds benefit our friends and neighbors facing heating emergencies. Walk for Warmth funds Emergency Utility Assistance through OLHSA, A Community Action Agency. Sponsor, Walk, or donate by visiting www.olhsa.org/walkforwarmth.
