Concerns of Police Survivors TX_Metroplex Chapter Pledge Page - Dallas 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb
DEADLINE TO GIVE: Sep 25, 2013
The Dallas 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb is an event that consists of police officers, firefighters, and the community coming together to honor those public safety officials who sacrificed their lives on September 11, 2001, as well as our local heroes, and help support those who have survived them.
All event expenses are covered by the registration fee, which allows 100% of pledges (minus a transaction fee) to go directly to the beneficiary that is selected by each participant
Concerns of Police Survivors, Inc. (C.O.P.S.) was officially organized on May 14, 1984 when 110 law enforcement survivors from all across the country gathered for the first annual National Police Survivors' Seminar held in Washington, DC. During that event, the survivors voted unanimously to organize C.O.P.S as a totally separate entity from any police organization so the needs of any law enforcement surviving family could be met regardless of what police political affiliation the officer had with various police labor organizations.
