The Copernicus Center is supported by the Copernicus Foundation, a non-profit organization that has been serving Chicago and community for almost 50 years. The Center is now alive virtually every night with dance groups, classes and theatrical activities. We proudly sponsor many community programs such as: art fairs, special exhibits, farmers markets, health fairs, seminars, adult ESL classes, citizenship classes, various community seminars and meetings. Home for the past 40 years of the larget Polish Festival "Taste of Polonia".
The Copernicus Center and Foundation area always mindful of its mission to serve the greater Chicagoland area through Arts & Entertainment and ensure that these services continue well into the future. A boost to the vitality of Jefferson Park and the Northwest Chicago neighborhoods, the Copernicus Center, a concert, culture, and community center, is a monument to the Polish American community and it’s desire to retain its rich heritage while serving, and entertaining, the residents of Chicago at large.
