All good things must come to an end and this fundraiser has been AMAZING! This is just a quick note of thanks to Jim and Rob for taking us along on their amazing journey and to those who donated to the Hart Comfort House in support of them. We are closing down electronic donations at the end of July. As always, donations can be made year round to the Hart Comfort House directly.

Jim Smith and Rob Warboys are riding across the country to the west coast on their Harleys. They decided to use this little vacation as a fundraiser for the Hart House in Wellsville NY. They are paying all of their own expenses. We are just going to cheer them on, bet for and against them, and follow them on their excursion all while benefitting the Hart House. They will leave in early June and arrive back to Wellsville the first week in July. You will be able to sponsor them by pledging per mile, per state, per tank of gas or bet they will get a flat tire, speeding ticket or need a tow! We will update their progress, blog style, for those of you who wish to follow along on their trip. Then, we will welcome them back with a BBQ on July 6th to thank them for including us in their ride.

$1 per tank of gas(don't you wish!!)about 40 tanks =$40.00
$1 per state(hope to hit 20 states) =$20.00
$1 a day**(about 15 days) =$15.00

I have had the recent experience of seeing first-hand, the gem that we have here in our little village of Wellsville, called the Hart Comfort House (HCH).

My father-in-law, Bob Geffers, had the privilege of spending his last weeks/days in the care of the staff and volunteers at the HCH.

I am here to tell you that this is one of those SPECIAL places that anyone will ever come across. Despite the sadness (at times), there is a glow, with all the smiling faces. AND----they do it for FREE!! Yes, FREE of any charge!! They exist solely on donations and gifts from the community. (Please visit www.hartcomforthouse.org for more details.)

In that regard, and in memory of Bob, I am venturing on a Wellsville to the West Coast motorcycle trip with a very good family friend, Rob Warboys. We are asking for your pledge (of any resource) with all proceeds and benefits to go directly to the HCH. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
