BENEFITING: COLON CANCER CHALLENGE FOUNDATION
ORGANIZER: COLON CANCER CHALLENGE FOUNDATION
I am running the NYC Marathon and fundraising for CCCF in memory of my mom, Susan Hauder. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer the week of Thanksgiving 2016, she put up a good fight, but passed away suddenly on April 1, 2017. She was known as Ninja Nana by all and she simply adored her 5 Grand Children and loved making everyone she met feel special and loved.
Please donate to support my efforts to fundraise for CCCF, so hopefully their efforts around early detection can save other Moms from going through what my mom did.
Thank you for your support!
My Mom thought my running was a tad crazy...she didn't quite understand how or why one would want to run 26.2 miles, but none the less she was crazy proud of me and was one of my biggest fans. This year the NYC Marathon falls on November 5th, the day after my birthday, which will be the first birthday I expereince without the woman who gave me life and raised me to be the strong, determined, woman I am today. I can not think of a better way to celebrate my mom, my birthday and bring awareness to Colon Cancer and Preventative Care.
A HUGE Shout-out to the best running club around, Libertyville Running Club aka LRC. I will be doing my Marathon training for both Chicago and NYC with this wonderful crue of amazing individuals!
The Colon Cancer Challenge Foundation launched Team Colon Cancer Challenge in 2010 to:

- Provide a grassroots opportunity for colorectal cancer survivors and their family members to raise awareness and funds for colorectal cancer in their community; and
- Offer those who have lost a loved one to colorectal cancer a positive and effective channel for their rallying cry against colorectal cancer.Team Colon Cancer Challenge has raised more than $500,000 in support of efforts to raise awareness of colorectal cancer and the importance of early screening, prevention, and research.
