Did you know that here in the United States, thousands of people struggle every day with their access to safe drinking water? In the Navajo Nation, nearly 100,000 natives live without running water.
The students of DePaul University (Chicago, IL) have partnered with Water is Life to create sustainable change and improvements to the Navajo Nation's water crisis. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to implement The SunSpring - a solar & wind powered water treatment system that can produce 5,000 gallons of clean water per day. The Sunspring's ability to provide clean drinking water without a power source makes it an affordable and sustainable option for mitigating the Navajo Nation's water crisis.
