About 80% of illnesses are linked to poor water and sanitation conditions in developing countries.
Approx. 1 in 8 people around the world does not have access to safe drinking water.
Worldwide, 2.5 billion people are without access to adequate sanitation facilities
Our School, Jameswood Alternative School in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada is working toward raising money to build a well in Ecuador. Our student voice committee also want to raise money to help build a medical clinic there as well. We are part of the We School Movement based on Craig Keilburger's We Day Initiative that motivates kids to help kids.
